Federal Express 50 Van Sort Belt Facility
As structural engineering consultant for the architect, Beicker Engineering, Inc.
provided a full scope of structural engineering services as outlined in the AIA
Document C141. Design consisted of load bearing tilt-up concrete exterior walls,
spread concrete footing foundation. Construction cost for this project was $1.1 M.
and was completed in 1990.

San Antonio River Authority
Office Addition and Remodel As the structural engineering consultant for the architect,
Beicker Engineering, Inc. provided a full scope of structural engineering services as
outlined in the AIA Document C141. Design consisted of a four story new office building
using deep, drilled concrete piers, cast-in-place post-tension reinforced flat plate floor
slabs, Cast-in-place concrete columns and retaining earth basement walls and
structural steel truss roof framing with sloped standing seam metal roofing. Design also
consisted of remodeling the existing precast concrete wall office structure that
relocated load-bearing concrete walls and replaced the roof framing. Construction cost
for this project was $2.4 M. and Phase I was completed in 1988.

QVC San Antonio
As the structural engineering consultant on the design-build team with Metropolitan
Contracting and Lyda, Inc, Beicker Engineering, Inc. provided a full scope of structural
engineering services as outlined in the AIA Document C141 for this new two-story center
in Westover Hills. The design of the structure consisted of using deep drilled concrete
foundation piers, a grade supported floating concrete floor slab, site-cast concrete
load-bearing tilt-up wall panels and conventional bar joist and beam superstructure
roof framing. Construction cost for this project was $3.0 M and was completed in 1991.
